Toni Ellis, a San Francisco Bay Area artist, is known for her luminous still lifes. Her vivid, total colors, close frontal placement, strong lighting and detailed rendering of the subject create a rich visual experience. Backgrounds are kept simple in order to focus on form and composition. Whether vibrantly hued or softly intimate, her paintings draw the viewer into a world of glowing color and quiet grace.
Toni Ellis' work is represented in private and corporate collections throughout the United States. She has exhibited in more than 50 national juried exhibitions and her work has been featured in American Artist and The Artist's Magazine.
